This is a 1.25 inch soft enamel pin of George Russell's race helmet for the 2022 season.

The name George Russell first started being mentioned in the Formula One paddock during his brilliant junior career. Like most highly rated Formula One drivers George made his talent known during his time in GP3 and Formula Two, he won both of these championships in his rookie season. His great performances attracted the eyes of the Mercedes junior driver program.

He first started driving in Formula one for the Williams team in 2019. Despite being in the slowest car on the grid Russell impressed by regularly beating his much more experienced teammate Robert Kubica.

Staying at Williams for the 2020 season George was able to show he could compete for points in the slightly fast car than the one he had the season before. However the first points of the career didn't come while driving a Williams. At the 2020 Bahrain GP Lewis Hamilton tested positive for COVID-19 and George Russell was chosen as his stand in.

Starting second after missing out on pole position by a very small margin George took the lead of the race, however he needed to be brought in for an extra pitstop after the team fitted the wrong ties to his car. Despite this set back Russell still had a chance to win, after making his way up to second was chasing down Sergio Perez for the race lead. This is when George took another unlucky blow picking up a slow puncture on lap 78 and needing to pit for new tires. He ended up finishing 9th getting the first points of his career, however he was devastated by the loss of what could have been his first race win.

While his outing in the Mercedes impressed many, he remained at Williams for the 2021 season. It was this year that he scored his first points for the team as well as his first podium at the controversial Belgian GP.

In 2022 he made the switch to the Mercedes F1 team replacing Valtteri Bottas. So far he has surprised all by outperforming his 7 time world champion teammate Lewis Hamilton. However Hamilton has started reduce the points deficit between them, only time will tell if Russell can remain in this position until the end of the season.

It will be shipped in a padded envelope to ensure safe delivery.
